For nearly 17,500 UFCW 876 members across the state, acknowledgement of worker risk and sacrifice has been recognized through various company compensatory programs, like Hero Pay; and have been enacted due to the perseverance and tenacity of both member and union. Together, we have fought to what is right - and won!
In a time of crisis, the best plan of action is a coordinated one; with the end goal being - protect our members and their communities. However, there are several additional employers 876 is now focusing on, and we will need everyone’s engagement and action to push these conversations forward to employers who lag behind in doing the right thing.
