Local 876 has established the Young Worker's Committee with the goal of engaging younger members to actively participate in union activities, gain valuable skills, and create lasting relationships within this industry while having fun. We will be hosting events to grow this committee and look forward to meeting and working with you.

2009 Union Plus Scholarship Applications Available

Each year, Union Plus awards thousands of dollars in scholarship money to union families across the nation. Current and retired Local 876 members, their spouses and their dependents children (including foster children, step children, and any other child for whom the individual member provides greater than 50 percent of his or her support) can apply for a Union Plus Scholarship. Scholarship awards are determined by the applicant's needs and range from $500 to $4,000.

Applications are available at www.unionplus.org/benefits/education/scholarships or by calling the Local 876 office at 1.800.321.6406. Applications must be postmarked by January 31, 2009.
