UFCW Michigan Holiday
Celebration
Featuring the Traditions of Christmas,
Kwanza, Hanukkah & Diwali
Local 876 and Local 951 members came out to the 876 union hall
Monday night, December 8, to enjoy an evening of holiday fun with
kids crafts, photographs with Santa, moon bounce, hot dogs, drinks
and treats. Admission was $2, with all monies being donated to
Michigan Food Banks.
Local 876 Holds
Presidential Debate Parties In October
Local 876 held two presidential debate parties, Tuesday, October 6
and Wednesday, October 15. Members, family and
friends joined together to watch the 2008 debates on the
big screen at the union hall. Complimentary pizza, snacks,
and beverages
were provided. |

UFCW Membership Golf Outings
UFCW Local 876 held two membership golf
outings this year, each enjoying not only a beautiful day, but a
complete golf experience of continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf
with cart, lunch on the turn, longest drive, closest to the pin,
first place team contests, skins, 50/50 raffle, and end of the day
BBQ.

UFCW Detroit Zoo Day
On Wednesday, July 30 over 470 UFCW members came
to the Detroit Zoo to the Pierson Lake picnic site to enjoy
lunch, refreshments, promotional items, health screenings for the
adults and face painting an craft table for the children.
