Personal Holidays:

For employees with 24 months or more of service, effective January 1, 2003, shall be eligible for one personal day with pay. Full-time shall be paid eight hours and part-time shall be paid four hours. Personal days should be scheduled and mutually agreed upon are to be taken each year of the contract thereafter. Any personal days not taken by December 1st of each year shall be paid for along with unused sick days. See Agreement, Article 12, Holidays and Pay, pages 10 - 11 for eligibility requirements.

Holidays:

For employees on the payroll as of 5/6/95, the following shall be considered as holidays: New Years Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas Day.

Full-time employees	Receive 8 hours straight time pay for the above named holidays provided the employee works the scheduled day preceding and the scheduled day following the holiday. If absent during holiday week because of proven illness shall receive holiday pay.
Part-time employees	Receive four hours straight time pay provided the employee works the scheduled day preceding and the scheduled day following the holiday. If absent during a holiday week because of proven illness shall receive holiday pay if they have worked any part of the holiday week.

Employees hired after 5/6/1995 shall receive paid holidays per the following schedule:

After completion of probationary period (30 days)	Christmas Day

After two (2) years	Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day
Three (3) years	New Years & July 4th

For a total of six (6) national holidays after three (3) consecutive years of service.
